Transportation

This is a well connected neighbourhood, through the suburban rail network and the subway (stations of Hoxton, Old Street and Shoreditch High Street). The Liverpool Street Station gives also good connections with the rest of London.

The distances from Shoreditch neighbourhood in London to the main universities are:

  • University of London and University College of London: it will take you approximately 14 minutes to get there, starting at Old Street station (Northern Line).
  • Middlessex University: is about 40 minutes away by metro (Northern Line starting at Old Street station).
  • London Metropolitan University: is 25 minutes away going underground (Northern Line starting at Old Street station).
  • University of East London (Stratford Campus): is about half an hour away. Starting at Old Street station, get first Great Northern Line and afterwards Tfl Rail.

The city centre is approximately half an hour away, in the Northern-Victoria Lines.
