If you want to join a gym you have a few possibilities. You can become a member of Univers, an initiative by the Universitat Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC Sport Centre) that is open to all university students. The price to become a member is 19 €/ year and 18.50 per trimester to be able to access the sport facilities, classes and leisure activities.

If you are a sea wolf or a surfer you will have an amazing time in Barcelona. The city has three marinas, several sailing, surfing and kite surfing schools. They even have their own type of boat, ‘el patí de vela’, a light boat that it is run by one person.

If you already have your Volleyball team and you are just looking for the facilities, you should go to Nova Icària Beach. This 415 meters long beach has several Volleyball pitches available. It is easily accessible by Metro (Ciutadella or Bogatell, Line L4), by bus (lines 6, 10, 36, 42, 92 and 141) and by tram (L4).
